- Day 3: Drive to Penitentes (2,700m); overnight at a lodge.
- Day 4: Trek to Confluencia Camp (3,400m); acclimatization begins.
- Day 5: Acclimatization trek to Plaza Francia (4,200m), spectacular views of Aconcagua’s South Face.
- Day 6: Trek to Plaza de Mulas Base Camp (4,350m); scenic approach.
- Days 7–8: Acclimatization and rest at Plaza de Mulas; gear prep and skills refresher.
- Day 9: Move up to Camp 1 “Canada” (5,050m); overnight.
- Day 10: Ascend to Camp 2 “Nido de Condores” (5,560m); overnight.
