The MN Mile
One mile. Two ways to run it. Every dollar fuels mental wellness for Minnesota youth.
One day. One track.
Two ways to run.
One reason.
A serious competitive mile in the morning.
Three timed heats. Chips, bibs, a certified four-lap course, and STAND+ on the feet of the field. For runners who came to find out.
A family festival mile in the afternoon.
Walk it, skip it, sidestep it, dance it. Then hit the slip and slide, the bubble zone, the DJ, the food trucks, the recovery activations. Built for everyone.
100 percent of net proceeds fund youth mental wellness.
Let’s Fuel Growth, Minnesota 501(c)(3). Real programming, real kids, real results. The day is the fundraiser and the day is the medicine.
Whether you are chasing a PR or pushing a stroller, you are showing up for the same thing.
Kids who need someone to prove that movement, community, and hard things can change a life.
Pick your mile
Same track. Same cause. Two completely different vibes. Run one. Run both. Bring the family.

Earlier is better
Tiers move with the calendar. Early Bird closes June 1 or after the first 100 Naughty racers, whichever comes first.

How the day runs
Timing is built around the track availability and heat structure. Get there early for packet pickup.
We are not raising money for a cause.
We are building a community that decides
which kids get to keep going.
Let’s Fuel Growth is a Minnesota 501(c)(3) building mental wellness, resilience, and authentic community through purposeful adventure.
We work with young people who have faced real adversity. Loss. Anxiety. Substance use in the family. Bodies and minds that have been asked to carry too much. We give them somewhere to put it. A summit to climb, a mile to run, a room to sit in, a community that does not flinch when they tell the truth.
The MN Mile is the day we close the loop. Athletes line up on the same track with families, kids, grandparents, and recovery community members. Same starting line, different speeds, same reason. The proceeds fund the programming. The day itself is the programming.
Movement
Hard things, done with other people, change brains and lives. Running a mile is the smallest possible version of that promise.
Community
No one heals alone. The people on the track with you, in the swag tent with you, at the slip and slide with you, are the medicine.
Truth
We do not pretend the hard parts away. We bring them with us and we keep moving anyway. That is what we teach the kids.
Powered by community
The MN Mile is built with partners who believe in what young people can do when they’re given real tools.
